Supporting community mental health care

Albury Wodonga Health is developing a new modular administrative facility in Wodonga for its Triage and HOPE teams. The teams will relocate from the Brain & Mind Centre at Mercy Hospital in Albury.

The facility will provide a purpose-built workspace to support community mental health services. Relocating the Triage team supports Wodonga Emergency Department’s designation under the Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2022, helping improve local access and reduce transfers.

Current status

Site establishment was completed in August 2026, and site preparation is underway.

Installation and commissioning are expected to commence in November 2026, with the facility expected to be operational in December 2026.

Funding

This project is funded by the Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA) through the Community Mental Health Expansion Program.
